It’s that time of year again! Put some air in your tires, tighten your chains, and join our marauding gang of bicycles as we pedal through the radical history of Chicago’s neighborhoods. This time, we’ll be in Uptown to learn the history of the original Rainbow Coalition, the fight for affordable housing, free healthcare, and much more.As always, this is a fundraiser for the annual Socialism Conference: a donation of $10 is suggested!

And join us afterward for a BBQ at Montrose Beach!

Our tour stops include:

  • The People of Uptown vs Truman College: Hank Williams Village & the fight for affordable housing
  • Telling the Stories of Real People: Uptown’s own Studs Terkel
